Broome County Health Department H1N1 Flu Clinic Activities for the Week of February 1, 2010

BINGHAMTON, NY – The Broome County Health Department will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic at the Broome-Tioga BOCES Education Center, 435 Glenwood Road, Binghamton, New York, on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The clinic is open to the general public six months of age and older. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. There is no charge for the vaccination.

Anyone who has not been vaccinated is encouraged to do so since vaccination may provide protection against another wave of the H1N1 flu.

The health department also continues with its second round of H1N1 vaccination clinics in elementary schools in Broome County with clinics being held in the Maine Endwell and Chenango Forks school districts this week. The clinics are targeting children under the age of 10 who are eligible to receive their second dose of the vaccine. Vaccinations will also be available for faculty and staff.
